About Us

Silvey Construction was founded in 1972 by Mike Silvey, the president and owner of the company. In 2001 the business was incorporated. In 2004 Mike’s son Jared joined the business. Silvey Construction is now in its Third generation of builders.

Raised in a family of builders, Mike learned the business from his father. In the beginning Silvey Construction built speculative and custom homes in the Spokane area. In the mid 1980’s a previous customer asked Silvey Construction to build him a dental office on Spokane’s South Hill. This led to a referral for a second dental building. Since that time Silvey Construction has become the leading builder to the dental community in the Inland Northwest and North Idaho.

Silvey Construction has built over 100 dental offices over the years, numerous medical buildings, and other highly technical and specialized buildings. In addition, we have developed and constructed retail strip malls, industrial buildings, fire stations, professional offices, high tech data facilities, research facilities, and warehouses. And unlike most commercial contractors we still continue to build custom homes.

We give our customers the expertise of a commercial builder, with craftsmanship and care of custom home builder.
